MOUNTAIN DAYCARE IN THE HEART OF NATURE

Welcome to Berg Kita Stoos, the happy place for kids in the natural paradise of Stoos. Located in the Stoos Lodge, right next to the mountain station of the funicular railway, we provide professional childcare in a unique alpine setting. Fresh mountain air, plenty of outdoor activity, and a caring environment ensure that children feel safe, valued, and at home.

Childcare from the Valley Station

We welcome your little ones at the Schlattli Valley Station, accompany them safely up to Stoos, and bring them back to the valley station at the end of the day.

Nutrition

At Berg Kita Stoos, we provide healthy, balanced, and varied meals. We naturally accommodate allergies, dietary requirements, and religious preferences on an individual basis.

Children are actively involved in daily routines in an age-appropriate way and are encouraged to help prepare meals. We offer a nutritious morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack, as well as breakfast on request.

Thanks to our partnership with the Stoos Lodge kitchen team, Berg Kita Stoos benefits from professional support in meal planning and preparation.

Monday to Saturday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

To ensure continuity and stability within the group, children are required to attend at least one fixed day per week or two half-days on a regular basis.

Our childcare services start from CHF 80.00 per child per day, depending on household income.

Outdoor activities, nature experiences, creativity, and shared discoveries are an integral part of everyday life at Berg Kita Stoos. Through these experiences, we encourage independence, social skills, and confidence in each child’s own abilities.

Educational Concept

Facilities & Environment

We place great importance on providing children with a varied and enriching programme, both indoors and out in nature. The unique setting of Stoos and the location of Stoos Lodge create the perfect environment for learning, exploration, and adventure.

Our daycare centre is fully equipped with toys, cosy retreat areas, a kitchen, and plenty of space for learning and play. The large indoor fun park is guaranteed to delight young visitors. Just outside our door, children can discover local farms, an educational moorland trail, and several playgrounds with picnic areas, all within a 5 to 15-minute walk.

Winter on Stoos offers a truly special experience, with plenty of snow, sunshine, and breathtaking views above the sea of clouds.
