Car-free natural paradise

The mountain village of Stoos is car-free and can only be reached by cable car. Plan your arrival in good time to arrive feeling fully relaxed. Here we put together all of the important information you need.

Our recommendation:
Take the world’s steepest funicular railway from Schwyz and experience the first highlight of your stay. Stoos Lodge is located right next to the summit station.

Alternatively, take the aerial cableway from Morschach. Hotel guests can park free of charge at the base station of the aerial cableway, but then have a slightly longer walk up to Stoos.
